Cine–serial actress Meera Vasudevan has parted ways with her husband-cameraman Vipin Puthiyankam, a year after they tied the knot. In a recent Instagram post, Meera officially announced she has been single since August 2025.
“I, actress Meera Vasudevan officially declare that I am now single since August 2025. I am at a most wonderful and peaceful phase of my life (sic),” Meera wrote. She has also deleted photos with Vipin, including the marriage photos from social media.

The duo, who had tied the knot in Coimbatore in May last year, had met each other on the sets of the popular television serial ‘Kudumba Vilakku.’ Vipin is a native of Palakkad and has been part of several television serials and documentaries.

Meera, who recently ended her third marriage, has a son named Ariha from her previous marriage to actor John Kokken. Earlier this year, she celebrated 25 years in the industry, sharing her happiness on her remarkable journey as both an actress and an artist.

Though she is not originally from Kerala, Meera has earned a special place in the hearts of the Malayali audience through her powerful portrayals of meaningful roles. She made her Malayalam debut in the classic ‘Thanmatra,’ starring Mohanlal and directed by Blessy. Her career then flourished, with her starring in several blockbuster films across different industries. More recently, Meera made her return to television, taking on the lead role in the popular series 'Kudumba Vilakku.'
