Actor and longtime friend VK Sreeraman has shared a light-hearted account of his recent visit to Mammootty’s residence, delighting fans with both humour and warmth. Sreeraman and his wife visited the superstar at his home in Kadavanthra, where they were welcomed with Mammootty’s characteristic charm — and an unexpected burst of creative energy.
In a playful note posted online, Sreeraman joked about Mammootty’s passion for photography, describing how the actor turned their visit into an impromptu photo session. He also shared the pictures Mammootty clicked of him and his wife, giving fans a glimpse of the superstar’s behind-the-camera enthusiasm.
Recounting the interaction in his trademark humorous style, Sreeraman wrote: “This afternoon, I went to a house in Ernakulam, in the Kadavanthra area. My wife came along too. The homeowner is an art lover — which means he’s both an artist and an admirer. It also means that at any moment he might ask, ‘Do you think you’ll ever look good in photos?’ Then he’ll keep clicking pictures. And he’ll roar, ‘Smile properly, man!’”
Sreeraman and Mammootty share a friendship that spans decades, strengthened by their work together in numerous films. Their bond often finds its way to social media, where fans eagerly follow their affectionate exchanges.
Earlier, Sreeraman had posted an emotional message celebrating Mammootty’s return home after undergoing medical treatment. That note, which included a touching excerpt from their phone conversation and an old photograph of the two together, had drawn significant attention from admirers.
