Fans say Yatra Raja is a mini version of Rajinikanth and Dhanush after IFFI appearance

Rajinikanth’s 50-year celebration at IFFI 2025 in Goa had an unexpected star: his grandson Yatra Raja. The elder son of Dhanush and Aishwarya quickly became the centre of attention, both at the event and online.

A video from the ceremony, widely shared on social media, shows Rajinikanth with his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya, and their children, including Yatra. Fans were immediately struck by how strongly he resembles both his father and grandfather. Comments poured in calling him a perfect blend of Dhanush and Rajinikanth, with one user describing him as “an eye feast” and another saying he looked “exactly like Thalaiva.” Many noted that even in Dhanush’s absence, Yatra seemed like a younger, handsome version of the actor.

Aishwarya and Dhanush, who married in 2004, have two sons — Yatra, born in 2006, and Linga, born in 2010. The couple separated in 2022 after nearly twenty years of marriage and continue to co-parent their children.
