Tharun Moorthy is once again collaborating with Mohanlal, this time under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions. Ashiq Usman had previously announced his 17th production, having worked on successful projects like 'Thallumaala' and 'Anjaam Pathira.' He and Dan Austin had a history of working together, with both being part of each other's past endeavors.

Ashiq Usman took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the new project, sharing: ‘When a storyteller and a legend meet again, a universe stirs. After Thudarum, Tharun Moorthy and Mohanlal embark on another voyage, carried by the vision of Ashiq Usman Productions. With your blessings, we begin weaving another tale of hearts and horizons.’

The film will be written by Ratheesh Ravi, who was originally slated to pen the script. Tharun Moorthy also wrote: ‘When a storyteller and a legend meet again, a universe stirs. After Thudarum,
I and Mohanlal embark on another voyage, carried by the vision of Ashiq Usman Productions. Rolling Soon.’
