He pushes boundaries: Director Vysakh on Mammootty in ‘Kalamkaval’

Director Vysakh has expressed his excitement ahead of the release of Mammootty’s upcoming film ‘Kalamkaval’. In an Instagram post, he praised the superstar for continuously evolving as an actor and pushing creative boundaries.
Vysakh, who is currently working on Prithviraj Sukumaran’s ‘Khalifa’, wrote that Mammootty brings “fresh fire” to every new role. He added that he is eager to see how the actor takes on his latest character, wishing him the very best for the film.
He also extended his wishes to Vinayakan, director Jithin K Jose and writer Jishnu Sreekumar, noting that their passion deserves to be felt in theatres. The director congratulated George and Mammootty Kampany as well, calling them the creative force behind the project.
Vysakh signed off by revealing he has already booked his first day, first show tickets, saying some films demand that kind of excitement.
‘Kalamkaval’, starring Mammootty and Vinayakan, released worldwide on December 5. The film has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board, a confirmation Mammootty himself shared recently.
The film, written by Jithin K Jose and Jishnu Sreekumar, features cinematography by Faisal Ali, editing by Praveen Prabhakar, music by Mujeeb Majeed and action by Action Santhosh.
