Cinema Savari, a free shuttle service operating between festival venues for film enthusiasts attending the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), was flagged off from Tagore Theatre on Saturday. Kerala Chalachithra Academy Vice Chairperson Cuckoo Parameswaran inaugurated the initiative.

The service, originally part of the state-run Kerala Savari programme, has been rebranded as 'Cinema Saavari' to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel for delegates attending the festival. The service will remain available until December 19.

As part of the initiative, five autorickshaws and two cabs have been deployed to ferry delegates between theatres at no cost. Officials said the move aims to enhance the overall festival experience while promoting public transport convenience during the eight-day event.
