Mollywood megastar Mammootty celebrated Christmas in style with the cast and crew of Mahesh Narayanan’s upcoming film 'Patriot' in Kochi. Videos from the sets have gone viral, capturing the festive mood as Mammootty rocked a colourful printed shirt paired with a classic mundu. The entire 'Patriot' film family came together to cut the Christmas cake, spreading warmth and laughter all around. C P Saly, social activist and businessman, was also present.

After a small speech, Mammootty joined everyone for the cake-cutting ceremony, followed by the biriyani distribution that truly sealed the celebration. Mammootty distributed biriyani to everyone—a gesture that has become his much-loved trademark at the sets. Kunchacko Boban, Ramesh Pisharody, Anto Joseph, and director Mahesh Narayanan, along with several other key members of the team, were present. The final schedule of the movie is currently under way in Kochi. The film also boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, Nayanthara, Revathy, Darshan, Rajendran, Zarin Shihab, Jinu Joseph, Rajeev Menon, Danish Hussoam, Shahin Siddiqui, and Sanal Aman. One of the biggest highlights of 'Patriot' is the much-awaited reunion of Mohanlal and Mammootty after 17 years, making this project even more special for fans.

'Patriot' has been shot across stunning locations including Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Delhi, Sharjah, Kochi, Ladakh, and the UK, with the final schedule currently underway in Kochi. The film distributed by Ann Mega Media is expected to hit theatres as a Vishu 2026 release.
