‘One Battle After Another’ was named Best Picture at the Critics' Choice Awards, where it also took home a total of four awards. Director Paul Thomas Anderson, best known for his phenomenal films ‘Boogie Nights,’ ‘Phantom Thread,’ and ‘There Will Be Blood,’ won the award for Best Director.

Meanwhile, ‘Sinners’ and ‘Frankenstein’ also won four awards. ‘Sinners’ bagged the first-ever award for Best Casting and Ensemble, while Miles Caton who played Sammie Moore in ‘Sinners’ was honoured with Best Young Actor or Actress, according to The Hollywood Reporter, while Ryan Coogler won for Best Original Screenplay. Ludwig Göransson took home Best Score for his work on the film.

Timothée Chalamet won his first-ever Critics Choice Award for Best Actor for his role in ‘Marty Supreme,’ while Jessie Buckley was awarded Best Actress for her performance in ‘Hamnet.’ Jessie’s speech praising her co-star Paul Mescal, while also expressing her affection for him has gone viral on social media. Many appreciated her honest speech, saying that her words were filled with true admiration for her co-star. “I could drink you like water, working with you every single day,” she said in the speech.

Jacob Elordi was named Best Supporting Actor for his role in ‘Frankenstein,’ while Amy Madigan won Best Supporting Actress for her performance in ‘Weapons.’ In the talk show category, Jimmy Kimmel Live! received the award for Best Talk Show.
