Hurting to see Jwala Gutta and Amala Paul blamed for my divorce: Vishnu Vishal

Vishnu with Jwala (L) and with Amala Paul

Vishnu Vishal parted ways with wife Rajini on November 13, 2018 and the news had left everyone in shock. And many had blamed Jwala Dutta and Amala Paul as the reasons for his split with wife after 11 years of married life.

Now, the actor has opened up in an interview with India Today on how when he posts pictures of Jwala, a section of people pass insensitive comments. He also stated that it was sad to see reports of him being linked with actress Amala Paul.

Talking about the same, the actor said, "What hurts me is, people, start assuming things and start commenting about one’s life without even realising the truth. When I post pictures of Jwala or when she does, a section of people manipulate things and pass insensitive comments. Some say that I got separated from my wife because of Jwala Gutta and another say that I was in a relationship with Amala Paul during the time of Raatchasan. I can’t prove them wrong by revealing the actual reason for my separation, as its something personal."

On being asked if marriage is on cards with Jwala, Vishnu Vishal said, " I believe in companionship for life." Further adding that he is not looking for second marriage and is spending time with Jwala as they both understand each other. “After my separation, I met Jwala and started spending a lot of time with her. She is a very positive person and that’s what I like about her. She had also gone through a separation in life. We spoke, understood each other and things are going fine,” he said.

No space for love

He mentioned that for him, love is all about marriage and that chapter is over. “There is no space for love in my heart. To me, love is all about marriage and that chapter is over. Mine was a love marriage and we were together for almost 11 years. It’s definitely not easy to forget those moments.

However, Vishnu Vishal had never revealed the real reason behind their divorce. He also revealed that his divorce led him to depression but slowly he did come out of it.

He pointed that he had never tasted alcohol until the age of 28, but during the depression phase he was about to become an addict. He thanked his father for being supportive in his life. It was after he started hitting the gym that he transformed into a positive person. 'I followed a diet and didn’t stop until I had a six-pack,” he said.
