South Indian actress Nayanthara has been one of the most successful stars in the entertainment industry. Though she earned applauds within the film industry, Nayanthara's love life wasn't a walk in the park.

During the initial phase of her career, Nayanthara was rumoured to be dating Kollywood actor Simbu and the affair lasted for a few months. Later, she was said to be in a relationship with Prabhu Deva for close to four years.

Recently in an interview with a daily, Nayanthara opened up about her past relationships and revealed why she parted ways with men she was once romantically involved with. “Love doesn’t exist where there is no trust. I ended my past relationships when I realised that it was better to live alone than with someone who she could not be trusted,” she was quoted as saying.

Admitting that it wasn’t easy to cope up with a break up, Nayanthara thanked her fans and films for helping her big-time to surpass the hard period.

Meanwhile, Prabhu Deva and wife Ramlath aka Latha divorced in 2011. The couple had three kids in which elder son died in 2008 due to cancer.

Latha pointed fingers at Nayanthara in an interview with one of the leading portals. She stated that the South actress needs to be punished for breaking someone's house and also accused Nayanthara of stealing her husband.

Latha also accused Nayanthara of preventing Prabhudheva to pay money or giving anything to her and her children for their survival. After which, she moved to family court, seeking restoration of her conjugal rights.

Well, life has moved on for everyone now and Nayanthara is now in a happy phase with beau Vignesh Shivan.
