Looks like Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is in some serious trouble. A week after a few of her photos with conman Sukesh Chandrashekh surfaced online, she was detained at the Mumbai airport.

Now, the latest buzz is that Jacqueline Fernandez received gifts worth Rs 10 crore from Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

According to a report by India Today, as per the chargesheet, Sukesh and Jacqueline have been in contact with each other since January 2021. Sukesh spoke to Jacqueline on his mobile phone even while in jail.

The expensive gift items include jewellery, diamond-studded jewellery sets, crockery, four Persian cats (the cost of one cat is around Rs 9 lakh) and a horse worth Rs 52 lakh.

Reports further claimed that when Sukesh came out on bail, he had booked a chartered flight to Chennai. Not just that, he also booked a chartered flight for Jacqueline Fernandez from Mumbai to Chennai. Both Sukesh and Jacqueline were said to be staying at a hotel in Chennai.

Sukesh allegedly spent around Rs 8 crore for his air travel in private jets when he was out on bail. He also sent money to Jacqueline Fernandez’s siblings.

In wake of this, the diva will have to face as many as 50 questions in connection with a Prevention of Money Laundering case lodged against the multimillionaire. Jacqueline will record her statement as a witness. There will be another round of questioning.

The next date in the charge sheet matter is December 13.
