The KiKi dance challenge is a reaction to musician Drake's global chartbuster 'In My Feelings' but for stars Mammootty and Mohanlal this ain't something new.

For a 1983 Malayalam film 'Naanayam', the lead stars of Mollywood, Mammootty and Mohanlal, did something very close to what we now call as the 'KiKi' challenge.

A troll video mixing the visuals with Drake's song has surfaced online.

The song originally titled 'Pom Pom ee jeepin madham illagi' features the young duo jumping from a moving jeep and dancing in the middle of the road. The stars, after an unsuccessful wooing of two pretty lasses, can be seen jumping back onto their jeep just how the KiKi challenge requires it.

For the uninitiated, the trending #InMyFeelingsChallenge aka #KiKiChellenge was kicked off by comedian Shiggy who danced to the song on a busy road.

Later, it featured social media users hopping out of moving cars, dancing alongside the car to Drake's song, before jumping back into the vehicle.

It was Shiggy's line at the beginning of the video, 'Keke, do you love me?', that morphed into the now-infamous online sensation.

Watch this hilarious video and we bet this will leave you in splits:
