Director Gopi Sunder has taken to wish his mother on the occasion of Mother's day.
"It was her habit to listen to music 24×7 !! Thank you Ammaee, for making me listen to music before my eyes opened to see this world !!", he posted along with an old picture. In his childhood picture, Gopi Sunder is seen sitting next to his mother, and the backdrop shows a radio.
Gopi Sunder earlier had shared a picture of him, his partner Abhaya Hiranmayi, and his mother together.
His interest in music started since he started working in his father's recording studio business and listening to the radio with his mother as a kid.
The director has always been vocal about the support he received from his family. As a school going kid he was adept in playing the tabla and keyboard than studies. Gopi Sunder has earlier revealed that he was an SSLC dropout and that it was his supportive parents who never let him down, instead help him achieve his dreams.
On the work front, Gopi Sunder recently composed music for Parvathy starrer 'Uyare' and the songs topped music charts.
He got his first break as a film score composer with Rosshan Andrew's 2006 flick Notebook.
