'The Jungle Book' back on Doordarshan without original song, Twitterati disappointed

With ongoing, Covod-19 lockdown, Doordarshan has been re-telecasting some of its old TV shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat. The Jungle Book too was added in the list.

The Jungle Book show in fact was aired at 1 PM on DD National on Wednesday.

However, it seems like viewers are not really happy with 'The Jungle Book'. The retelecast did not play the original song and people have taken to Twitter to express their disappointment.

Going by the lines, "Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai, Chaddi Pehen ke Phul Khila Hai..", the song is written by Gulzar.
