Legendary singer S Janaki is absolutely fine and healthy, stated her family after rumours of her death spread on the Internet.
Janaki had undergone a minor surgery and was recovering from it, when the death hoax hit the Internet. Her family members had to clarify that the singer was hale and hearty and they urged everyone to not spread rumours.
Singer SP Balasubrahmanyam and actor-director Manobala too, took to their respective social media pages, to slam the rumours. KS Chithra shared SPB's video in her official social media pages to convey the message.
This is not the first time rumours of Janaki's death have surfaced on social media. Sadly, S Janaki has fallen victim to a death hoax two times earlier, in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, the singer performed in her last concert at the University of Mysore.
