Actor Mammootty prayed for veteran singer SP Balasubrahmanyam's speedy recovery, who is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chennai.
Taking to his social media pages, megastar recalled old times he lip-synced to SPB's voice in two films - Swathi Kiranam and Azhagan.
"Wishing & praying for SPBalasubramaniam sirs speedy recovery. I’ve had the good fortune of lip syncing his glorious voice in two evergreen films, #SwathiKiranam and #Azhagan ! May the almighty bring him back to fine form and strength to give us many more timeless songs and shows (sic).", he wrote.
Earlier, there were reports of SPB testing negative for coronavirus. However, his son, SP Charan then released a video in which he requested people to refrain from rumour-mongering.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, SPB regained consciousness and had a conversation with his son.
