'Aavanippaattu' song sets the right vibe for Onam

Onam is nearing and all are getting into the festival mood. The fun games, family get together and amazing food makes Onam Malayali’s favourite festival of the year. Having said that, the festival is unimaginable without some peppy  Malayalam folk songs  (naadan paattukal).

Aavanippaattu released by Thekkan Chronicles sets the right vibe for the festival.

Crooned by Gokul Harshan, the 4-minute long video song is directed by Vinu Janardanan. The lines “Melemel melemel ith puthu vanam...ith puthu lokam” points to the changing times and changing world. The drift in beats towards the end of the song is indicative of a festival mood.

Amid the lush green frames set by Mahesh S R, the peppy track is also penned by Vinu.

With Lekshman Santhosh on the drums and George Tomas on keys, Bharath H S and Krishna Jagadish are on guitar. The percussion is handled by Shebin Baby John. The editing and designs are by Sudheesh M S. The costumes are by Deepa Kelat styled by Madhavi Madhupal.

Watch the video and tune in for a harmonious best:
