'Kacha badam' remix versions cross a billion views each

Bhuban Badyakar, the peanut seller in West Bengal is a hot property now. Ever since his 'kacha badam' song has gone viral, various versions of the song along with a range of dance steps made it a phenomenal entertainer.

Initially, Bhuban had to wait a bit to climb the success ladder even as his song was going places. But his prospects shot up sky high with various music labels signing him for their separate music videos.

Of them, the remix video of Bajewala Records Haryanvi has become the most viewed version on YouTube crossing the one billion mark. The song features Nisha Bhatt leading a band of dancers along with Bhuban. While the original song belongs to Bhuban, the Haryanvi lyrics of the song in the video is by Devil Kagsaria. Amit Dhull accompanies Bhuban for the song in the video.

The video is directed by Love Randhawa, who is also the DOP and editor of the remixed track.

Another version conceptualised by Saswata Ray and directed by Gopal Ghosh, released by Godhuli Bela Music with the title 'Badam Official' has also touched a billion views. Along with Bhuban Badyakar Ron-E & Pragya Dutta have rendered the song. The visuals are captured in camera by Amarjit Palit. The video features Bhuban Badyakar, Barnali Das, Ron-E, Dinesh, Chandan, Bablu, Sudhamoy, Bikrom, Susmita and Koyel.

The original Bengali song ‘Kacha Badam’ has taken social media by storm when the video of a wayside seller singing it has gone viral. The catchy tune and the rural Bengali slang have earned the song millions of fans on multiple social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Celebrities too had joined the ‘Kacha Badam’ trend and were busy grooving to the number through millions of reels and videos.
