The newly released ‘Deva Deva’ song from the Ayaan Mukherjee directed ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan crossed 18 lakh views within hours.

The song written by Amitabh Bhattacharya is composed by Pritam and is sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi. ‘Deva Deva’ which talks about light, love and power is already the talk of the town, along with its beautiful visuals. ‘Brahmastra’s’ earlier song ‘Kesariya’ is already a chartbuster.

‘Brahmastra’ is made in three parts. The film which also stars Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy also features a guest appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. The first part is called ‘Brahmastra: Part 1: Siva.’

'Brahmastra' is a new cinematic universe set in the modern world, inspired by the deeply rooted concepts and stories of Indian mythology. The makers claim that it is an epic that combines fantasy, adventure, good, evil, love and hope.

Director SS Rajamouli has acquired the South Indian distribution rights of the film. Rajamouli will release this film in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

Ayan Mukerji's dream project is being produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. The first part of the film will be released on September 9.
