Kerala's rock band Orfeo, which has stirred the musical domain on several occasions with its electrifying music, whether it's instrumental remix or original tracks, is back on inspiring mode with its latest theme song for the Qatar World Cup.
The foot-tapping number 'Aiwa Aiwa...', written by Shyam Muraleedharan, has been composed by Robin Thomas. Sayanora Philip and Yunes Ahmed Yusuf Ebrahim Alsaegh have gracefully rendered the song.
Robin Thomas has directed the video and he also cranked the camera and edited the visuals.
The team had brought out a theme song for the FIFA World Cup in Russia in 2018 as well. The song 'Davai Davai' was also sung by Sayanora Philip. The video song was directed by Steev Benjamin.
The hilarious instrumental remix of the the Malayalam song 'Padakali' composed by A R Rahman for the movie, Yodha and the retro mashup of two iconic music bands Boney M and ABBA where it mixed the Russian Rasputin and the Swedish 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' had generated ripples in music circles.
