'Srivalli', 'Chaand Baaliyan' among 10 most searched songs on Google in 2022

If you are wondering, which songs from India, made it to the list of most searched songs in Google this year, you need not look any further. 'Srivalli' from Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa: The Rise' and music album 'Chaand Baaliyan' composed by Aditya A are the two Indian songs, which have been featured in the 'Year in Search 2022' list released by Google recently.

While Chaand Baaliyan occupied the third position, Srivalli has been ranked 10 in the list. 'Srivalli', a Telugu romantic number from the superhit movie 'Pushpa', features Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the lyrics were by Chandrabose. The song, though got released in 2021, broke the internet in January and was endorsed by a lot of celebrities across India. As a matter of fact, all the songs in the movie, including, 'Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava' featuring Samantha were also huge hits.

Chaand Baaliyan, by music composer and singer Aditya A, went on to became a huge hit and became the most trending album in April. The song was released three years ago, in 2019, but became a hit only this year. It also attained top slots in several musical apps.

Coke Studio's 'Pasoori' by Ali Sethi and Shae Gil, however, topped this year's most searched list. The Pakistani song is probably the most streamed song from the country globally. Recently, Spotify had also announced it the music app's most-streamed song in 2022.
