The Darling song from ‘Oh My Darling’ is turning out to be a big hit on YouTube. The song, which was composed by Shaan Rahman, was sung and written by Korean singer Linda Quero.
The trailer of Alfred D Samuel directed ‘Oh My Darling,’ a new age romance headlining Anikha Surendran had already gained attention. The film is produced by Manoj Sreekanta under the banner of Ash Tree Ventures. Jineesh K Joy has written the screenplay.
Malayalam cinema is also set to yet another child actor making her debut as a heroine through 'Darling'. Anikha Surendran made her debut as a child actor in Sathyan Anthikad’s ‘Kadha Thudarunnu’ in 2010. She later appeared in films like '5 Sundarikal', 'Bhaskar The Rascal', 'The Great Father', 'Yennai Arindhal' and 'Viswasam'. Anikha has already made her debut in Telugu as a heroine in 'Butta Bomma', a remake of the Malayalam film 'Kappela' in which she reprised Anna Ben’s role. She has several films lined up in Malayalam and Tamil.
Melvin G Babu, Mukesh, Lena, Johny Antony, Manju Pillai, Vijayaraghavan, Srikant Murali, Nandu, Dain Davis, and Fukru are the rest of the cast. Vinayak Shashikumar has written the lyrics.
