Nick Jonas on being called 'Jiju', 'Nick-wa' by Indian paparazzi

Singer Nick Jonas who was in India recently for the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai admitted he is called 'Jiju' by the Indian paparazzi. Nick spoke about his nicknames during a BBC talk show.

According to him, he heard many people calling him Jiju (which means brother-in-law in Hindi). 

"It was really good to be be back (in India). I love India. It has been a couple of years since I have been there because of Covid. This was a really fun trip. But yes, it was great to hear the nicknames I have now," he told the talk show host who asked him about his different nicknames.

The BBC talk show host also played an audio clip where one of the paparazzi called him Nickwa. Nick, who is known for his music, is part of the band 'Jonas Brothers'. His marriage with Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was celebrated across the globe. Priyanka who found huge success in Bollywood moved to the United States and is making waves in Hollywood. The series 'Citadel' featuring her and co-star Richard Madden, which is streaming on Prime Video is receiving positive reviews.
