A couple from Thane has gone viral on social media after a video of them dancing in the rain with the song ‘Rimjhim Gire Saawan’ playing in the background, surfaced. The elderly couple are seen wearing the same outfits worn by actors Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee who were featured in the evergreen song from the movie 1979 ‘Manzil’.

The couple looked cute as they danced in the rain at Nariman Point in Mumbai, where the original song was shot. Both of them look very much in love. The scene-by-scene adaptation of the song has gone viral, with many celebrating the love between the couple.

Recently, veteran actor Moushumi Chatterjee had spoken about the challenges of shooting the song in the rain, especially when water-proof makeup was not common.

The real life couple have been identified as Shailesh Inamdar and Vandana. The duo, in a recent interview, said they were overwhelmed by the response they have been receiving and are hoping that Amitabh Bachchan will react to the video.
