Sonu Nigam, who has sung several songs for music composer AR Rahman recently made a surprising admission in an interview to a national daily. The 'Deewana Tera' singer wondered how Rahman could create such a mediocrity as ‘Chiggy Wiggy’ from the film 'Blue' (2009).

“I just don’t like the song ‘Chiggy Wiggy.’ How can a composer like Rahman create such a bad song? I am amazed. This song could easily be improved. That’s when I realized that even a composer like Rahman can go wrong. I sang that song, and I am happy for that opportunity. Australian singer Kylie Minogue did the female vocals. I don’t think Rahman made full use of her voice. Rahman could have created a song to match her caliber. I do try to improvise whenever I sing Chiggy Wiggy on stage,” said Nigam.

His words are understandably trending on social media, with a section agreeing and disagreeing with him. There are six songs in 'Blue' and Kylie Minogue became an instant sensation in India thanks to that song. 'Blue' stars Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sanjay Dutt, and Lara Dutta.
