Malayalam rapper Vedan releases new song 'Mouna Loa'

Rapper Vedan known for his politically-charged lyrics has released his new song 'Mouna Loa' just two days after his arrest for possession of illegal drugs and a leopard tooth pendant. This is Vedan's first romantic song and is a passionate celebration of love between two lovers.
The track 'Mouna Loa' is a two minute 27 second track and starts with the chorus 'Raariraarire Raariraarire Raariraarire Ra Raariraarire.'
Vedan who rose to fame with his powerful song 'Voice of the Voiceless' is known for his politically loud statements against caste and colour. The song 'Kuthanthram' from 'Manjummel Boys' was also hugely popular, while songs like 'Pottan', 'Vaa', and 'Aana' also brought him recognition.
Vedan was arrested in Kochi on Monday after Hill Police seized cannabis from his flat in Tripunithura. The musician admitted that he had used cannabis, but was not a regular user. Eight other people were also present at Vedan's flat during the time of the raid. The Forest Department has currently taken Vedan into custody for possessing a leopard tooth pendant.
