Soubin Shahir impresses Lokesh Kanakaraj with his splendid dance moves at award show

Soubin Shahir’s dance performance at the Blacksheep Cine Awards 2025 has become viral on social media. He danced to the song Monica from the upcoming Lokesh Kanakaraj – Rajinikanth movie 'Coolie.' Dressed in a bright yellow kurta, the actor happily danced to the song's quick beats. Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanakaraj is seen enjoying Soubin’s electrifying dance moves. 

The video has already garnered millions of views on social media. Soubin hit headlines recently after the makers of 'Coolie' released the song Monica on social media. The actor effortlessly pulled off the hook step in the song, conquering the hearts of the South Indian audience. The lyrical video has crossed 10 million views within just two days. Meanwhile, the comments section is flooded with messages and comments praising Soubin’s dance. 

The crew had presented Monica as a glamourous dance number by South Indian diva Pooja Hegde, who is even featured on the poster of the dance video. However, things took an interesting turn as soon as the video was released. Though the audience loved Pooja’s sizzling steps, Soubin’s energetic steps and attitude overshadowed her performance.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Soubin has impressed the moviegoers with his dancing abilities. His quirky dance moves in the superhit song 'Njan Jackson Alleda'' from the film 'Ambili' were quite famous. He managed to hold on to the unique mannerisms of the character while dancing to the fast number. 

However, it was in the song Parudeesa from the blockbuster Mammootty starrer 'Bheeshmaparvam' that Soubin surprised the audience with his dance moves. His energetic performance had clearly outshone the young actors and the background dancers who were also featured in the song.
