Neeraj Madhav drops 'Ponaal Pottum Poda' from 'Pluto'

The upbeat rap song from the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Pluto’ has been released to enthusiastic reception. Titled ‘Ponaal Pottum Poda,’ the track stars Neeraj Madhav and Althaf Salim in lead roles and is quickly gaining traction on social media. Neeraj Madhav not only wrote and composed the song but also performed it, with production by rZee.

Directed by Adithyan Chandrashekar, the film is produced by Reju Kumar & Resmi Reju under the banner of Orchid Films International. The song's choreography was directed by Rishdhan Abul Rasheed. Pluto is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 30, 2026.

In the film, Neeraj Madhav plays the lead, while Althaf Salim portrays an extraterrestrial character. The movie also features Aju Varghese and Aarsha Baiju in pivotal roles, with Aju Varghese’s unique makeover serving as a major point of intrigue. The ensemble cast also includes Subin Tarzan, Dinesh Prabhakar, Vineeth Thattil, Nihal Nizam, Zaheer Muhammed, Nimna Fathimi, Sachin, Thushara Pillai, and Vipin Atley.

The distribution rights for ‘Pluto’ in Kerala have been acquired by Century Films. TruthGlobal Films will handle the theatrical release in the GCC region, while Berkshire Dream House will manage the release in all other overseas markets.
The film features cinematography by Vishnu Sarma and is written by Niyas Muhammed. Editing is handled by Sanath Sivaraj, with the music department managed by Arcado. The film’s art direction is by Rakhil, and costumes are designed by Stephy Zaviour. Ronex Xavier oversees the critical makeup and prosthetics departments. A significant highlight of the film is its VFX, provided by Flying Pluto.

The production team, includes Executive Producer Jayakrishnan R K, Creative Producers Kishor R Krishnan and Anandhu Suresh, and Production Controller Javed Chempu. Additional screenplay is by Anandhu S Raj and Nithiraj. Sound design is by Sankaran-Sidharth, with sound mixing by Vishnu Sujathan. Given the prominence of action sequences in the film, the stunts are coordinated by Aepiens and Robin Tom.
