Thiruvananthapuram: Ananthapuri shopping fest has commenced in the Putharikkandam Ground at the capital city, and is jointly conducted by Manorama and Oceanus Builders. Prominent brand Ideal is the electronic sponsor. Attractive offers are lined up in the festival which will go on from 27th November to 7th December. **Kudumbasree Café presents a treasure chest of culinary skills** Kudumbasree’s culinary feast is getting ready in three sections named Malabar, Thiru-Kochi and Thiruvithamcore. The dishes are prepared with traditional ingredients doing away with artificial additives. Cooking in full view of the visitors is a highlight. Hundred women from twenty units of Kudumbasree helm the kitchen. Traditional tastes of each region can be savored in the cooking of women from that region. The festival will feature food suiting different climates in a place like Kerala where food habits change with the varying seasons. Apart from food, the fest also has Hantex, in the handloom section, electronic gadgets, among other interesting stalls.
