• Do not remove the hard centre while chopping carrots, as it is where the beta carotene is found in huge amount.
• Add a bit of vinegar in the water while boiling egg to prevent cracking.
• Adding two drops of mustard oil while grinding dried chillies gives them a prominent red colour.
• Roast the egg plants by rubbing some oil on them. It helps remove the skin very easily.
• Grease the hot tawa with half an onion dipped in oil to prevent the dosa from sticking onto the tawa.
• Sprinkle some all purpose flour in the hot oil before frying fish to prevent it from sticking to the pan.
• Add a table spoon full of honey into the cake batter to make the cake extra moist and delicious.
