Here's what happened when this eatery offered free fried chicken to those who failed SSLC

Paprika Fried Chicken, a quaint eatery at Tholoor in Thrissur district had been in the news lately for a strange offer that they had made. The eatery offered a family pack of their signature fried chicken to the SSLC students, residing in the panchayat, absolutely free of cost. However, here's is the catch! Only the students who had failed in the recent SSLC examinations were eligible for this interesting offer.

The owner of the eatery had promised that she would deliver a family pack of nine fried chicken pieces that costs Rs 550, at the homes of the students, even without charging a delivery fee. But, when the results were announced, it was the owner who was in for a surprise. Tholoor panchayat grabbed headlines by registering a 100% success rate. Not even a single SSLC student in the panchayat had failed. Meanwhile, some of them are disappointed that they ‘missed’ out on an amazing offer by the Paprika Fried Chicken.

The poster that the eatery had published on the day when the results were announced had become trendy in the locality. The owner of the eatery Aiswarya and her husband Jeeko V Antony believe that even failures in life call for celebration. They say that they were ready to gift free fried chicken to any number of failed students in the panchayat. However, the offer lost its ‘validity’ when everyone in the panchayat passed the exam. Recently, the owners had given free French fries to the fans of the Brazilian football team that lost to Argentina in the Copa America finals.
