Kottayam: The curtain has raised for the much-awaited annual Round Table Food Festival in the city. This year too, the iconic food festival would be held online. Noted online food delivery platform Swiggy is the delivery partner of the 2022 edition of the food festival conducted by the Kottayam Rubber Town Round Table 121. You could enjoy mouth watering delicacies and unique flavours until May 29 in towns like Kottayam, Pala, Thiruvalla and Changanassery. Orders could be booked from 8 am to 9 pm.
Delicious paal kappa or tapioca cooked in creamy coconut milk and fish curry, Texas dosa, crunchy fried chicken, momos with myriad fillings, Iranian kebab, beef ribs, kunafa, tasty biryanis and chocolate crunch are some of the most popular items that are sold on the delivery app.
As many as 58 restaurants in the four towns take part in the online food festival this year. Besides the regular items, the restaurants have designed special menus too. Meanwhile, this is a fabulous opportunity to enjoy delicious food from internationally recognized food chains like Dindigul Thalappakatti biryani, BurgerMan, Red Box and Psycho Sushi.
When you open the Swiggy app, the icon of the Kottayam Food Fest can seen on the face page. Orders could be placed by clicking on this icon. Food would be delivered at your doorstep, without losing its taste or freshness.
The profit that is earned from the food fest would be donated to the Sparsh Round Table School at Pathinarilchira for differently abled students.
