Noted food vlogger Firoz Chuttipara has wowed his viewers an amazing new video on his Youtube channel recently. In the latest video, he grills a whole ostrich. Interestingly, the video shot in Dubai has become viral within a few hours. The ostrich that weighs around 40 kilos is prepped before it is grilled. In the video, Firoz says that the laws in Dubai allows to cook ostrich meat.
The flavoursome masala is made by mixing green chilies, ginger, garlic, Kashmiri chili powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, cumin powder, cardamom powder and salt. This marinade is rubbed on the ostrich meat before it is cooked in steam.
The half cooked meat is then grilled on hot coals. Before grilling, the meat is again rubbed with some butter, crushed chillies, salt, pepper and lemon juice. The softened meat is then perfectly grilled on the coals. Firoz says that grilled ostrich has a unique and rich flavour.
