Have you been craving some good food as well as a fun night out? You are in luck if you are around Kottayam. Head to the Nagambadom Municipal ground to taste some lip-smacking delicacies.
The ongoing food fest organised by Round Table 121 at Nagampadom in Kottayam offers a wide variety of cuisines from around the world. The biggest attraction of the fair is the chicken menu, which lists 50 dishes. Other delicacies which could be tasted at the festival include Turkish ice-cream, Arabic sweets, biriyani, burgers, barbeque, ice-creams, pastries, Chinese dishes and seafood.
The food fest also has stalls set up by luxury automakers such as Mercedes Benz and BMW as well as a flea market selling books, cosmetics, clothes and toys. A play area for children and an amusement park are the other attractions.
The main entrance to the food festival is opposite the Nagampadom bus stand, while parking is arranged at Indoor Stadium. Platforms at the fair are designed to be dust-free and there is also a common dining area.
“The entire earnings from the food fest will be utilized for running Round Table 21’s ‘Sparsh’ school for differently-abled children,” said an office-bearer of the organization.
Entry to the fair is from 4.30 pm to 10 pm and tickets could be purchased from the online app or the counter at Nagampadom ground. The food fest will conclude on January 29.
