Who doesn't love some crunchy golden banana chips? The king of all wafers, they are the perfect snack to munch on with steaming hot tea when the rainy season sets in.
Ingredients
4 raw bananas
1 tsp turmeric powder
Coconut oil
Salt
Water
Preparation
Peel and wash the bananas
In a bowl, mix water, salt and turmeric powder
Thinly slice the bananas to the water
Let it sit for 5 minutes
Heat oil in a kadai/Uruli/deep bottomed pan
Drain the slices and add them to the hot oil
Fry till they turn bright yello
Remove them from the pan and drain excess oil
Store the chips in an airtight jar
