Before you think up the literal meaning of the name of the dish, it is tapioca finger chips! Deliciously crunchy and pleasantly spicy, this is an alternative to the mass produced potato finger chips.

Ingredients
150gm tapioca sliced into finger chips
100gm gram flour
2 tbsp rice powder
1 tsp ginger chopped
2 tsp green chillies chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp jeera powder
2 pinch asafoetida
Salt, as required
¼ kilo oil

Preparation
Make a batter with the gram flour, rice powder, ginger, chillies, curry leaves, chilli powder, turmeric, jeera, asafoetida and salt
Take a bunch of the tapioca sticks and dip it in the batter as a bundle
Deep fry till it turns golden and crispy. Serve hot with any sauce of choice
