The perfect partner to your roti or rice, this okra, fried with spices, works great on a chilly winter day!

Ingredients

    ¼ kg okra

    2 tbsp oil

    1 tsp cumin

    1 small piece finely chopped ginger

    1 pod of finely chopped garlic

    ½ tsp chilli powder

    ½ tsp cumin powder


    ¼ tsp turmeric powder
    Salt, as required

    Preparation

      Clean the okra and cut in 1 inch size

      Heat the oil. Drop the cumin seeds in it and wait for them to splutter

      Add ginger and garlic and sauté

      Add chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt and sauté

      When the raw smell leaves, add okra and mix. Cook and remove from stove
