Easy, no-bake vermicelli pudding

This tasty vermicelli pudding can be made easily even without an oven. It tastes and looks similar to the Middle Eastern delicacy kunafa. Try this easy recipe for delicious and melt-in-mouth vermicelli pudding.

Ingredients
1 packet vermicelli
3 cups milk
¾ cup sugar
5 tbsp corn flour
2 cheese cubes
1 tsp vanilla essence
3 tbsp butter/ghee
2 tbsp almond powder
Crushed pistachio

Preparation
Break vermicelli into small pieces
Heat ghee in a pan
Roast the vermicelli, crushed almonds and sugar
Separate this into two parts
Spread one half of the vermicelli mix in a pudding tray and pop in the fridge
Save the other half for later
Heat milk, corn flour and sugar in a pan
Add cheese cubes and vanilla essence when the milk thickens up
Mix well and turn off the flame
Pour this on top of the vermicelli in the fridge
Spread the remaining vermicelli on top of this
Garnish with crushed pistachios
Keep the pudding in the fridge for at least 4 hours for it to set.
