Marble cake

Mirror glazed marble cake is the perfect dessert to make your loved one happy. Here is the pretty simple recipe of mirror glazed marble cake.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups milk
1 tbsp vinegar (mix both and keep aside for 5 minutes)
For the dry mix
2 ½ cups all purpose flour
½ cup corn flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
(Sift the dry ingredients together)
For the wet mix
1 cup oil
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
¼ cup melted butter
2 tbsp vinegar
For the frosting
½ cup melted butter
1.5 cup cream cheese
1 ¾ cup icing sugar
Beat the cream cheese and melted butter
Add the icing sugar slowly and beat
For the red mirror glaze
¼ cup cold water
2 tbsp gelatin powder
Mix the gelatin powder in cold water
¼ cup water
½ cup condensed milk
¾ cup sugar
1.5 cup white chocolate
1 tsp red food colour

Preparation
Mix sugar in 1 cup oil
Add the eggs and mix well
Into it add the milk and vinegar mix
Now add the vanilla extract, melted butter and vinegar
To prepare the batter, add the sifted dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
Fold well
Separate this batter into 3 parts
For the white batter, add a pinch of lemon zest
For the chocolate batter, add 1 tsp coco powder and 2 tsp lukewarm water
For the red velvet batter, add 3 tsp red food colour
Grease a 8 inches cake tin with oil
Pour 1 tbsp white batter into the centre of the cake tin
After that pour a tbsp of chocolate batter and then the red velvet batter
Repeat until the batters are over
Preheat the oven for 5 - 10 minutes
Bake the cake for 35 - 40 minutes
In case the cake is baked on stove top, spread some salt in a non stick vessel or pressure cooker
Close the lid and pre heat for 5 - 10 minutes
Place the cake tin on a stand and bake for 45 - 50 minutes
For the frosting
Heat water, condensed milk and sugar in a medium hot pan (do not boil)
Turn off the flame and add the white chocolate
Mix well until the mixture turns soft
Into it add the red food colour and then the gelatin mix
Blend using immersion blender to prepare the mirror glaze
Allow the mirror glaze to chill at 30 - 35 centigrade
Spread the frosting on the cake
Freeze for 6 - 12 hours
After the cake is frozen, pour the mirror glaze over it
Decorate the mirror glaze cake as you desire.
