Ingredients
Aval - 2 cups 
Salt - to taste 
Water - sufficient
Shredded coconut - one cup 
Preparation
Fry aval in low heat for five minutes without adding oil
When it cools off, put it in a mixer and grind it into a powder to make puttu
Add enough salt to it, add a little water and soak the powder
Fill the puttu maker with shredded coconut and soaked puttu powder and steam it
Delicious aval puttu is ready to serve hot.
