Make fresh curd within half-an-hour after boiling milk

Fresh homemade curd is always better than the store-bought ones. There won't be any added preservatives, you can ensure that the milk used for curdling process is of good quality – the advantage of making curd at home is many. However, many choose to go for the packaged ones since curdling milk overnight might sound off putting to them. What if you can speed up the process and have freshly made curd in just half-an-hour after boiling the milk? Here is how to:

2 cups/ half litre milk
1 tbsp curd
Hot water


Boil the milk and allow it to cool down
Add the curd when the milk is lukewarm
Mix well
Pour hot water in a casserole
Insert the vessel with the curd in it
Close the lid
Curd will be ready to have in just half-an-hour.
