Pasta lovers! Here's what Pranav Mohanlal is whipping up in 'Hridayam'

The simple pasta dish that Pranav Mohanlal's character whips up in the 2022 movie 'Hridayam' can impress those who aren't too familiar with pasta or even foodies who have perfected their version of it. Game to try it? Switch on the song 'Nagumo,' open your kitchen cabinets to grab its easy-to-find ingredients and go!

Ingredients
5-6 glasses of water
2 tsp salt
2 tsp oil
1 ½ cups of penne pasta
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 green chilli
3 tbsp finely chopped carrot
3 tbsp finely chopped onion
3 tbsp finely chopped bell pepper
3 tbsp finely chopped tomato
1 tsp pepper powder
Fresh cream

Preparation
Pour 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil (sunflower / vegetable oil) in boiling water
Add the pasta into it
Meanwhile, heat 1 tsp oil in another pan
Sauté garlic and green chili
Into it add carrot, onion and bell pepper
Sauté for 2 -3 minutes
Now add the bell pepper and tomato
You could also add paneer, cabbage or mushrooms
Butter too could be added instead of oil
Add salt, pepper and chilli flakes too
Mix well
Strain the pasta
Run the cooked under normal water so that the pasta wouldn’t be overcooked
Add the pasta into the vegetable mix
Mix well
Now add the fresh cream
Give everything a good mix
Close the lid and cook for two more minute
Tasty creamy pasta is ready! wouldn’t be overcooked
