Loaded with flavours, this potato masala pairs well with fluffy puri

Wondering what to make with puri for breakfast? This flavourful potato masala will augment the taste of wheat or maida puri and make you yearn for more. It doesn't demand too many complicated ingredients and can be whipped up in the blink of an eye. Here's the recipe.

Ingredients
3 boiled potatoes
1 tomato
½ tsp chopped ginger
2 chopped green chilies
Curry leaves
3 tbsp coconut oil
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp cumin seeds
A pinch of asafoetida powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp garam masala
½ tsp chili powder
Coriander leaves
Salt as required

Preparation
Heat oil in a pan
Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds
Roast the asafoetida powder
Into it add ginger, green chilies and curry leaves
Lower the flame before adding turmeric powder, garam masala and chili powder
Sauté well
Now add tomato and salt as required
Close the lid and cook well
Into it add mashed potatoes and some lukewarm water
Allow the gravy to boil
Finally add chopped coriander leaves
Delicious potato masala is ready.
