Black raisins are not just delicious, but can also remove toxins and other pollutants from your body. Experts say they are also a good source of natural antioxidants. What about making a wine out of this nutritious fruit for this festival season? Raisin wines are also called straw wines and are apparently capable of very long aging. Here's how to prepare the black raisin straw wine.

1 kg of black raisins with seed
1 tablespoon wheat
1 piece of cinnamon
2 number of cloves
¼ teaspoon yeast
2 litres of boiled water cooled to room temperature

Add raisins to hot water and keep for 10 minutes
Remove the raisins from the water, dry them, and transfer them to a jar
Crush the raisins with a wooden spatula or masher
Wrap the wheat, cinnamon, and cloves in a cloth and place them in the jar
Add yeast to the jar
Pour the boiled water which has been cooled to room temperature into the jar
Mix the contents of the jar thoroughly
Close the mouth of the jar with a cloth so that it is airtight
Keep the jar for 21 days
On each of these days, stir the contents without opening the jar
After 21 days, take out the raisins and squeeze them
Sieve the contents of the jar
Transfer the sieved wine to a glass bottle and it could be served after another 10 days
You will obtain about 1.5 litres of wine
De-seed the squeezed raisins and keep them in the refrigerator
They may be used while making cakes
