Pimples are a cause of worry for many youngsters. They are often noticed in the mornings when you take a look at your face in the mirror. While hormonal imbalance creates pimples in adolescents, other reasons lead to pimples in people of all ages. However, Rajasthan-based nutritionist and dietician Richa Gangani opines that pimples can be prevented to some extent by sipping a tea daily, in which fenugreek and cinnamon are added.

According to Richa, this tea has the ability to check the formation of pimples caused by hormonal imbalance. “Apart from pimples, even the dark marks they create on your face will disappear if you drink this tea for 21 days at a stretch,” claims the nutritionist. Fenugreek is rich in antioxidants and also contains the compound digoxigenin, which has antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. Cinnamon too has several antiseptic qualities, which help handle pimples and pimple marks. Yet another ingredient of this special tea is curry leaf, which too has many antimicrobial properties, apart from vitamin A.

Richa says these qualities help erase the oily nature of the skin and clean the dirt on it. The ideal time to apparently drink this tea is before bedtime. At the same time, make sure you are trying medicinal concoctions after ensuring that your body doesn't have any kind of allergic reactions towards them. If in doubt, you can also consult your dermatologist for advice.
