Malappuram: A man died after a gas cylinder exploded at a refrigerator repair shop here on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Rasheed, a resident of Oorkadavu.

Initial reports from Vazhakkad police indicate that the cylinder in a refrigerator brought in for repair exploded. A police team arrived at the scene to conduct inquest procedures, and a detailed investigation is underway.
