Kochi: Police have registered a case against actors Biju Sopanam and SP Sreekumar following a sexual harassment complaint filed by an actor on Friday. The alleged incident occurred during the shooting of a television serial.

The complaint, initially lodged via email at the Infopark Police Station, was subsequently transferred to the Thrikkakara Police as the place of the incident falls under their jurisdiction.

The case will be transferred to the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which was constituted after the release of the Hema Committee report.
