Fort Kochi: A sparkling confluence of colour, form, and expression is currently on display at the 'Art Alliance' painting and sculpture exhibition at the David Hall Art Gallery in Fort Kochi. Organised under the aegis of The Artist Group, the collective show brings together the works of 30 artists, including three from Gujarat and one from Tamil Nadu. The exhibition features over 100 works, including Arabic calligraphy, collage art, abstract pieces, nature-themed paintings, and sculptures crafted from wood.

Participating artists include Anand Channar, Ajitha Susan Mathew, Aparna Mangalath, M A Akbar, Ashokan Cheruvathur, Benny Varghese, Binu Rajeev, Chithra Jyothi, C T George, Gori Yusuf Hussain, Jogi Pallathana, Lolitha Nair, T K Murali, M Reeves, Rekha, Alpesh Vadodara, Roy Karathra, Ruchitha A. Tataliya, Saleesh Cherupuzha, Sreejith S Devan, Sreeja, Sujith Chandran, Santhosh Pallikkara, Shubha S Nath, Sunil Choondal, Vinod Bhaskaran, Vipin Das, Ila Design, Vineetha Menon, Rehna, and Sini Raju.

The exhibition was inaugurated by filmmaker Jose Thomas, with Panachamoodu Shajahan, president of the Prem Nazir Souhrida Samithi, presiding over the function. Singer Ratheesh Kottaram, artist Saleesh Cherupuzha, and guests including Aavani Malhar, Sheela Thomas, and Safiya Sheriff also spoke at the event.

Curated by Rehna Saleel, the exhibition runs till August 6, with gallery hours from 9 am to 8 pm.
