Kottayam: Seven brothers of the Capuchin Province have embraced the path of music to spread the message of love and spirituality, and to lead youngsters towards a world of goodness. These brothers are BA Theology students at the Capuchin Vidyabhavan in Thellakom. They practise music whenever they get free time between their studies.

Interestingly, they have named themselves Kaapipodi Band after the coffee-brown cassocks they wear. Audiences can enjoy the songs of Kaapipodi Band on Capuchin Vidyabhavan’s Instagram page and on the YouTube channel Vox Assisi.

The brothers say that the late Pope Francis has been their inspiration in influencing youngsters through social media. Pradeep Chulakkal, Albin Abraham, Tiljo Madassery, Joseph Karakkat, Manu Porathoor, Shubam Dominic and Alfin Chelakkal are the members of the Kaapipodi Band.
