Being simple and traditional is Anu Sitara's choice
Anu Sithara mostly appears in her ethnic and traditional get-ups.

'Anu Sithara from the movie Ramante Edanthottam' - this is enough to let the sparks fly for fascination for the actress. It was for a film 'Pottas Bomb' that Anu had first sent her photos to the director and she was in because of the natural style she carried.

The actress who could give a killer look to the hero with her big eyes demanded her first shot and she could do it very easily. Anu is mostly spotted in salwars and sarees be it onscreen or off the screen. “I am a nadaan girl”, is how she likes to put it.

“Why no jeans and tops”?

And she says, “As a kid when my mom used to make me wear jeans and short or tops, I used to get irritated. My mom used to make me wear such outfits for any occasion and I would fight with her and won't even smile for making me wear those. Since a very young age, I am never comfortable wearing western outfits.”

While Anu had appeared in a modern look for the movie 'Achayans', rest all demanded only 'naadan' ones.

“Although I don't like wearing western outfits, I love to see others wearing it. For me, a small bindi, a jhimki and a salwar will do”, she says.

Her ethnic and traditional get-ups makes for a perfect picture for she used her gaze as her accessory.

“I don't like putting up too much of make-up or jewellery. It's very rarely that one will get to see me in make-up,” says Anu Sithara.

Black and red is her favourite pick among colours. “Everytime I decide to pick a new range of shades, I end up choosing dress either black or red,” she says laughing.
